This is, at the moment, my absolute favorite at-home coffee recipe that I make pretty much every single morning before online school! It takes only around 5 minutes, and is SUPER yummy! If you’re looking for an easy way to save money and not order so frequently from Starbucks, here is the perfect solution! And of course, ingredients are all gluten free.
You can easily follow along with this recipe while watching my newest youtube video linked at the end of the article/recipe!
Here are the directions if you want to make this coffee recipe at home!
The Ingredients for the Iced Coffee
All you need is any plain and unsweetened iced coffee, but my favorite is the Starbucks blonde roast plain iced coffee. I also love the Califia farms iced unsweetened cold brew, but the blonde roast or medium roast by Starbucks is my absolute favorite.
As for the creamers: I use 3. It might be extra, I know, but it makes for the PERFECT iced coffee and is totally worth the effort. For the first creamer, I use oat milk or almond milk. Then, I use a blend of dairy free vanilla creamer and sweet cream creamer to make the foam on top.
For the foam, I like to use the Nut Pods french vanilla creamer and the chobani sweet cream coffee creamer.
The Instructions:
The first step is to pour in oat milk and ice. I like to add oat milk for a creamier and less harsh tasting coffee, but this step is completely optional. This is about how much oat milk I use:
Finding a Gluten free Oat Milk
I use Planet Oat for the oat milk I use, but Califia farms is also gluten free! If you have celiac, it’s all about finding an oat milk that is safe for you and doesn’t make you sick; this is just the one that I use!
The next step is to add coffee to ALMOST the top of the cup,
To make the foam, add about 1 tablespoon of each creamer (the vanilla and the sweet cream) to a milk frother and set it to the cold foam setting. After the milk has foamed, pour it over the top of the coffee, it should look something like this depending on how much of the foam you chose to add:
