Hello beautiful people! Today I’m sharing three really simple infused water recipes that taste amazing and definitely encourage me to drink more water throughout the day to stay hydrated.
These three recipes are pretty amazing, and they are super simple to make! Each recipe has a specific goal in mind/something it achieves. Here are the three waters and my tips for making them!
Notes
I like to make my infused waters in mason jars without ice, and then pour them into large cups with ice to drink them. I find it’s easier to make the waters in mason jars because they create great single servings and the sealable lids make for a super easy way to infuse them overnight in the fridge.
Water #1- For Hydration
The ingredients: 2 slices of lemon, 1 mini cucumber, 3-5 mint leaves.
This water is great for general hydration, as well as giving you that little energy boost you need. The lemon is super tangy and citrus-y, and of course it’s really high in vitamin c, so it’s great for the time period where we are all at school trying to stay safe.
The cucumber is really hydrating, and I like to add the mint because it’s super yummy! Out of all the infused waters in this post, that one is my favorite.
Water #2- When You’re Craving Soda
I HATE drinking sugary drinks, but sometimes I just want something bubbly, sweet, and fruity. Most of the time, when I’m craving soda, I go for a kombucha instead, however, this infused water with raspberries and kiwi is also a great option.
Here are the ingredients: 5-6 raspberries, 1 kiwi, and of course, water. That’s it!
This water is a super fun twist on the classic combination of strawberry-kiwi. I just switched it up because I way prefer raspberries to strawberries, and the end result was super sweet, fruity, and delicious. This infused water REALLY reminds me of hint water, and I love it!
Water #3- For Relaxation
This infused water is less of an infused water, and more of a cold brew tea, but either way, it’s delicious. If you don’t love lavender, you might want to skip this one, because the two ingredients are blackberries, and a bag of lavender tea.
All you need to do is slice the blackberries in half vertically and add them and the tea bag to the mason jar with water. Seal it overnight and let it brew in the fridge.
Lavender is super good for relaxation and anxiety, and blackberries add the best slightly fruit flavor.
When actually drinking the water, I prefer to pour this infused water recipe through a strainer. That way, I won’t have little blackberry seeds or pieces of tea in my water while I’m drinking it. The end result of this is perfect, and I like to drink this water towards the end of the night, either at dinner or before bed.
