Sauteed Brown Butter Figs with Mascarpone and Honey

Ingredients
  

  • 12 large figs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • mascarpone cheese (any amount of your liking)
  • 2 tsp honey (about 1/2 tsp per plate)

Instructions
 

  • Cut the figs in half and add the butter to a large saute pan. Once heated, add the figs, face down, and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until cooked to your liking.
  • Transfer the figs to a serving plate and add 4-6 figs to a small bowl, then add a dollop of mascarpone on top. Drizzle with fresh honey and serve!
